Sleeving and conduit for wire harness manufacturers

Harness makers combine several protection products on one assembly: braided sleeve on the trunk, wrap on the branches, conduit near hot or moving parts. We make and stock that whole range, so one supplier can cover a complete harness drawing.

Common problems

What goes wrong with cables in wire harness

Chafing at clamps and edges

Vibration rubs cables against brackets and sheet metal until the insulation wears through.

Branches and breakouts

Sleeve has to pass over connectors and still fit the bundle tightly after the breakout.

Heat near engines and exhausts

Some branches run close to heat sources and need conduit or fibreglass instead of PET.

Questions

Frequently asked

What sleeve is best for automotive wire harness?

PET expandable sleeve is the most common for trunks. Self-closing wrap suits terminated branches, and FR conduit is used near heat. Share your drawing and we will mark up the options.

Can you match a customer's colour or FR specification?

PET and nylon braid can be made in colours to specification, with FR grades. Lead time for custom constructions is 1 to 2 months.

Do you supply harness makers outside India?

Yes. We export to markets including the UAE, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Malaysia, Australia, Germany and Poland. Ex-factory terms are preferred.
